Bob Booth's hands-on ecology classes take students to Bethlehem rivers and forests

Bob Booth, professor of ecology and paleoecology in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, brings science to life. He believes the best way for students to learn is by doing science. His enthusiasm for botany and field-based research gives students hands-on experience collecting data.

His immersive classes bring students off campus for collaborative and group learning. They gain skills in data analysis, critical thinking, and communication while having fun exploring the outdoors.
