Biography
On July 21, 2025, EES welcomed Jessica Melhorn as our new Laboratory Facilities Technician. Jessica earned a BS in Geology with a minor in Chemistry from Lafayette College. Her educational experiences involved a variety of fieldwork in the Lehigh Valley, Desert Southwest, Wyoming, and Bhutan. As a Gilman Scholar, Jessica travelled to Poland and Germany to investigate how past and present conflicts in Eastern Europe are impacting people today. Outside of work, she enjoys spending her time walking, sculpting, reading, visiting museums, and spending quality time with family & friends. Jessica is excited to be a part of the department, so please feel free to stop by if you're looking for any assistance or just want to chat!
